Conrad Treasury Casino - Brisbane

ScaleWatcher^TM units have now been installed for over three years with excellent results.

The Conrad Treasury has 7 balanced cooling towers with a 5,000KW heat rejection capacity. Conventional water treatment for these cooling towers is still employed and ScaleWatcher^TM is and add on to this system. Side stream filtration was also fitted at the same time as the ScaleWatcher^TM units. The pipe diameter to and from the cooling towers is 16” stainless steel and two ScaleWatcher^TM units were fitted, one on the supply and one on the return.

The Water Treatment Contractor for the Casino looks after the water treatment and raised the cycles of concentration of the cooling water to meet the legislated requirement in Brisbane. Photos below represent the condition of Conrad’s cooling towers and chillers before and after installation.
